| Hello all!!
So I'm not sure exactly who uses this thing anymore, if anyone. I came on it just to peruse and look back at old memories :) good times. I decided to give an update on my life, considering xanga was really like my first website ever, and I'm still biased that it's the best haha.
So I'm 22 now......going on 23. I'm still with my boyfriend Marty.....going on 4 years. I work at TGIFridays...and am currently still employed at Sunnybrook Country Club, but have not yet returned there for the season. I'm on the dental hygiene wait list at GRCC. I've been waiting for about a year now. I have one more year to wait then hopefully will be beginning classes in 2010. Yikes. I no longer nanny....it's been almost 2 years since I've been with that family. I'm looking for anything really to get me out of the serving industry, but to be completely honest, it can be the best money at times. Especially with the way the economy is right now.
Let's see......things that have happened since the last time I've been on here in August of 2007......
My brother is going to get married in October of this year :) 2009. I'm way excited!!! The wedding will be in Cali which I'm even more excited about! I've never been out there to visit, even though he's been there for almost 7 years now. I'm planning a trip for June, to spend some time out there with him and do some site seeing :) I'm way excited for that!
We lost my grandma in July of 2008. That was really hard. My one and only grandma. I know we didn't always see eye to eye on everything, her being so much more conservative then me, but I miss her more everyday. She was 94. She lived a good life :) I can only hope to accomplish half as much as she has in my lifetime. She's left a legacy and will never be forgotten.
Hm....what else......
Marty doesn't work for Ferris Construction anymore. He's now with Mateco Drilling, which is a construction drilling company. Don't ask me what that means or what exactly he does, because I don't have the answer for that lol. All I know is they send him away every week from Monday morning to Friday night. It gets lonely at times, but I survive.
We've (Marty and I) had a lot of hardships in our relationship but we've come through and beaten the odds. No one ever said love was easy. We do our best to keep things together and make this work. And I have no idea why I've been sitting here pouring my heart out on facebook lol.
My friends since 2007 are still the same :)
One of my best friends, Bridget, got married in September of 2008. That was exciting!! A beautiful wedding :) Also my friend Alyse got married in December of 2007. My mom and I played for her wedding :)
Everyone that I know seems to be getting engaged, married, or having children.....and not particularly in that order lol. I almost feel like at 22 I'm supposed to be doing so much more. The majority of the people that I graduated high school with have graduated college or are planning on graduating this spring. I feel so behind. I'm hoping to just be beginning my journey at the age of 24 when I'll finally be able to start my program. I wish at times that I wouldn't have chosen to do photography for 2 years beforehand. It's almost like that's put me so far behind. But I also have to look at the upside of things, and realize that everything happens for a reason, and photography is my first love. It's something that can never be taken away, and I still pursue it today.
I have a feeling that this blog is so long because I feel like no one will read this, and it's almost like a personal journal entry for me. That it's something I can look back on later and read, and remember what was going on in my life at that time :) So if anyone does read this? Feel free to comment :) otherwise....I'm sure you're crazy for reading this entire entry lol.

| wow so i used to use xanga religiously.....and i haven't used it in almost a year....so i suppose i should leave a post. at the moment i can't think of anything to write. other then all i do is work.....that's my life. and hang out with my amazing boyfriend :) i'll update later with some pictures from the past year and what i've been up to | | |
| idk who or if anyone reads xanga anymore...but this one is to everyone who's gone off to college:
ya know....today it just hit me that summer is officially over.....people have started their classes this week....everyone's moved away.....this is always the hardest time of the year for me. all of my friends or even acquaintances are gone. last year was probably the hardest year for me, only because it was our first year in college and everyone had gone away. i hate staying home...i feel like i'm punishing myself. i should be off exploring life....instead of being here........at home. don't get me wrong..i wouldn't go anywhere else...college just isn't my thing. i always thought that i would be the one to move the farthest away from home....but in the end...i was the one who stayed...and i'm fine with that. i only miss the ones that are gone.
So to all my friends:
I love you all and you mean so much to me! thanks for all the memories and the fun times that we've had!! i wish you all the best of luck in college and i hope to see you all when you come home on breaks!!! and you know what?? class of 2005 is still the best  hehe | | |

this summer was amazing!!! couldn't ask for anything more!!! i had a blast!! didn't go too many places but wherever it was it was fun :) lol.

i started back to the whole nannying bit on monday. it is my third day back on the job. boy did i miss those kids!!! i have all three of them for the first couple of weeks..until they start school...then at that point i have reegan all day, gavin 1/2 day, and rileigh for maybe a half hour lol. monday was a normal day....they played with their friends and what not....then tuesday we went bowling at hudsonville lanes and then to burger king. that was a trip lol.
